Corona Virus (Covid-19) Update
To our customers, employees, and partners:
Re: Corona Virus (Covid-19)
Update: March 23, 2020
As you are all aware, multiple states across the country have shut down everything except essential business. As elevators are essential components of public transportation and safety, we will continue to provide fixtures and controls packages as well as warranty and replacement parts.
Following is an updated status for each operation:
Innovation Industries Incorporated (III), Russellville, AR Phone 1-800-843-1004
III continues to operate at 100% capacity. At this time, we continue to maintain our delivery schedule and standard lead times.
Monitor Elevator Products (MEP), Hauppauge, NY Phone 1-631-543-4334
New York Governor Cuomo has now mandated that all non-essential business shut down facilities and require employees to work from home. We submitted a request to be designated an essential business with the NY Empire State Development department and received a verification that elevator related companies are exempt from the workforce reduction restrictions.
Our intent at MEP is to maintain a small staff at the facility in order to provide emergency replacement parts and fixture packages for high priority projects. All office sales and engineering staff are working from home.
At this time, we are extending lead times on all new releases to a minimum of eight weeks. We are doing our best to honor promise dates for orders that are already in process. We are working with our customers to prioritize fixture package orders with the goal of getting critical elevators back in service.
Virginia Controls (VC), Richmond, VA Phone 1-804-225-5530
VC continues to operate at 100% capacity. We have contingency plans in process to allow our office staff to work from home. At this time, we continue to maintain our delivery schedule and standard lead times.
III, MEP, and VC remain committed and ready to serve our customers. As conditions change, we will be sure to provide updates. During this time of great uncertainty, we would like to encourage everyone to support each other, stay safe, remain positive, and be well.
Our continued thoughts and prayers go out to:
- Our leaders worldwide as they work to contain this global pandemic.
- Our families and friends who have been affected in so many ways.
- Our health care professionals who are on the front lines working to save lives and stop the spread.
- Our communities as we deal with whole scale changes in the way we go about our daily lives.
- Our businesses as we struggle to balance the health and safety of our employees with the needs of our customers.
